Merch champion of the day is Flat File, emeritus edition.

After helping innovate "replica art gallery gift shop merch" as a fashion category (shout out Shrits2000, whose "Water Lilies" shirt is still available), the brand affiliated with 3sixteen's Andrew Chen did receive legal notices that halted its nascent model. The future is unclear for the brand, but there are still a few of the old shirts online.

In that vein: Seattle Department of Design came through with another fire drop, this one dedicated to the Washington Apple. This fake government office based in Seattle is all sold out of its wares, which is usually the case. I really appreciated the thoroughness and execution on this all-accessories capsule, composed of a hat, a mug, a blanket and a bag.

OK let's talk about the Desus & Mero Timberlands. On one hand these make perfect sense: it's a brand the duo actually wears, aligned with the city they rep to the death, with authentic graffiti by Mero instead of a graphic designer's approximation. But something about these is a no from me, dawg. I can't call it. It feels like something they said yes to because it was a longtime dream, not because the world needed to see this product.

As far as classic record label logo tees go, Hyperdub's is pretty sick, and you don't see them too often out and about.

Speaking of graffiti, Ohgeesy's throwie shirt is fresh–it looks like some new Nabisco cereal with haunted marshmallows. Love it.
